Welcome to the Central Indiana ISACA web site! ISACA's vision:
"Our
vision is to be the recognized global leaders in IT governance, control and
assurance.” “ISACA’s mission is to support enterprise objectives through the development, provision and promotion of research, standards, competencies and practices for the effective governance, control and assurance of information, systems and technology.” With more than 35,000 members in over 60 chapters and 100 countries, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association® (ISACA™) is a recognized global leader in IT governance, control and assurance. The Information Technology Governance Institute (ITGI™) actively promotes research that results in the development of products useful to IT governance, control, assurance and security professionals. The Institute also seeks to inform information technology management and users about the critical role IS controls play in their organization. Visit or parent ISACA organization's web site at www.isaca.org for additional information about our international organization, globally respected CISA® (Certified Information Systems Auditor™) designation, the new CISM® (Certified Information System Manager™) designations, and IT Governance Institute, K-Net Resources for IS/IT Professionals, and our organizations Bookstore which offers peer reviewed materials at a discount to members. The goals of our chapter are to make quality educational programs available locally to our members and the central Indiana IT community; to encourage the CISA® and CISM® certifications; and provide opportunities for professional interaction. Currently our Central Indiana chapter has approximately 225 members from all areas of the audit and security professions - private industry, public accounting, government, and consulting. This variety of backgrounds serves to make the chapter a valuable forum for interchange of ideas, approaches and solutions to a wide range of topics related to the audit and control of information technology. Our chapter sponsors periodic events throughout year, ranging from 1-2 hour meetings to multi-day seminars focusing on current technical topics. Please see our Upcoming Events page for more details on chapter sponsored events. As a volunteer organization, our Board of Directors is elected by chapter members, and serves without compensation. Besides our officers and director positions, we also have a number of volunteer positions within our working committees which need to be filled each year. Working as part of a committee is a great way for new members to become active in the chapter. We are always looking for volunteers, so if you are interested in helping in any capacity contact any of our Chapter Officers . Thanks for visiting our site. Please contact us if you have any questions about the chapter or ISACA membership.
Sincerely,
|
