The Center for Internet Security (CIS) is actively looking for team members to participate in its new benchmarking projects, including:
• Novell Netware
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Sendmail
• Juniper Routers (JunOS)
“As with all of our projects, we need help to ensure that the recommendations we release reflect the needs of our member organizations and users in the public, private and academic sectors,” said John Banghart, director of benchmark services at CIS. “If your organization makes use of any of these technologies and would benefit from a security benchmark, we encourage you to become involved with the development team.”
Banghart can be reached at jbanghart@cisecurity.org or +1.703.716.0199. Additional information is available at http://www.cisecurity.org.
The mission of CIS is to help organizations around the world effectively manage the risks related to information security. CIS provides methods and tools to improve, measure, monitor and compare the security status of organizations’ Internet-connected systems and appliances. ISACA is a founding member of CIS.
