The Relationship Between IT Managers and Auditors

We had another great event!  The July meeting was very educational.  The topic was the relationship between IT Managers and Auditors.  We all know that the relation there can sometimes be strenuous at best. 

Greg Finch, Pat O'Day, Steve Terpstra, and ISACA's own Brian Kettering sat on the panel to bring their side of the story.  Through some very straight forward questions, the panel brought out that the relation can work, and should work, to make everyone's job more productive.  Greg Finch mentioned that he uses his auditing department as a "beating stick" to ensure that polices put out by his organization are followed.  That's what I call enforcement!

All in all it was a very quick and never boring conversation.  CI-ISACA
